About Dog Says Hi

Dog Says Hi is a free browser tool that describes what a dog photo shows. A reading lists visible traits first — coat, build, and activity in the frame — then possible breed cues, then everyday care ideas for grooming, walks, and routine.

It is made for owners, adopters, foster volunteers, and anyone curious about the dog in front of them.

What it isn't

Breed cues are possibilities, not proof. Appearance in a photo cannot confirm breed or ancestry, and it cannot assess health, emotion, or temperament. Dog Says Hi is not veterinary advice: it does not diagnose conditions or assess symptoms, and it does not certify a breed. If you have a health concern, contact a veterinarian.

How it works

A lookup is sent only after you choose a photo and press the submit button. Your photo and any note you add go to an AI model through this site's Worker and Qomza's service, and the result is a provisional reading — an observation, not a certification. Qomza's gateway keeps the photo, any note, the Cloudflare connecting IP sent with the lookup, and the result it returns indefinitely in private operational storage; the Privacy page has the full details.
